Monica, Owner & head coach
Monica is a passionate, high-energy coach who lives to help others move, grow, and get stronger — inside and out. She’s a certified ACE Fitness Instructor and NASM Personal Trainer with over 19 years of experience leading group fitness and personal training.
A former college athlete turned coach, Monica brings both grit and real-world experience to her training. After navigating injuries and a total knee replacement herself, she understands that every body is different — and she’s committed to helping each person move in a way that works for them.
Recognized as one of the top fitness instructors in the country, Monica is known for her no-nonsense coaching style, tough love motivation, and deep knowledge of movement science. Each week, she leads workouts that challenge your strength, endurance, and mindset — always pushing you to reach your full potential.
Monica loves a good strength workout (especially supersets!) and swears by weekly mat Pilates to keep her body balanced and strong.
Marie
Marie has been leading fitness classes for over 14 years, bringing energy, encouragement, and a whole lot of heart to every workout. A former competitive swimmer, Marie has always believed in the power of movement — and she loves helping others discover how fitness can improve every part of life.
At 69 years young, she’s stronger than ever and passionate about showing that it’s never too late to build strength, confidence, and community. Marie teaches a variety of class formats, always with a welcoming vibe and a focus on moving in ways that feel good for your body.
She’s also Monica’s mom (yes, fitness runs in the family!) and a proud grandma who loves spending time with her grandkids and being in the water any chance she gets.
Licia
Licia’s fitness journey started like many others — in the back row of a group fitness class, watching Monica crush it up front. After one humbling but motivating workout, she was hooked. Soon, she was showing up multiple times a week, building strength and a serious love for movement.
Years into her journey, Licia discovered yoga — and everything clicked. She completed her yoga teacher training in 2012 and is now an RYT200 through Yoga Alliance. Since then, she’s been helping students grow stronger, more confident, and more connected through mindful movement.
Licia is one of the original Movement Studio members and still shows up bright and early for Monica’s 6am classes. When she’s not teaching or flowing, she loves strength training, cooking (and eating!), and traveling.
Nicole
Nicole is a former athlete turned personal trainer and mom of two who knows what it means to stay active through every phase of life. Whether she’s running after her kids or cheering on her favorite tennis players, movement has always been part of who she is.
From competing in triathlons to coaching youth soccer, gymnastics, and hockey, Nicole brings years of experience — and energy — to every class. She’s especially passionate about helping women stay strong and active during and after pregnancy, and loves sharing realistic, sustainable tips for finding balance in motherhood.
Her workouts are thoughtful, empowering, and rooted in real life — because she’s living it, too.
Sam
Sam is a new mom, long-time fitness instructor, and all-around go-getter who loves staying busy — especially when it involves fitness, retail, or creative marketing. She’s been leading group fitness classes for nearly 12 years, starting with Yoga Sculpt training at CorePower and later earning her ACE Group Fitness certification.
Teaching has helped Sam find a deeper sense of balance, showing her how joy and movement go hand-in-hand — whether it’s through a sweaty class, a great meal, or time with the people you love. Her goal? To help others become the strongest, happiest version of themselves.
When she’s not coaching or working, you’ll find Sam hanging out with her family (including her new little one!), her boyfriend, and their beloved French bulldog.
